I have finally finished all the pieces for Soraya so I played around with my camera (again) to provide inspiration and a little push. She is still in need of deserate sanding and polishing but at least for now, I can see the light.

The next step will be to make tiny molds of these tiny little pieces and prepare them for slip casting
Maybe one day I will have a kiln and be able to cast in porcelain but since this is my first attempt I have opted for the most economical process. I have purchased some Liquache
and some Doll Composition Slip
I guess I'll see which I like better in time
The closer I get to the molding process, the more anxious I become. I have spent months on creating a piece that I am satisfied with. I really dont want it to be destroyed in the molding process. Im crossing fingers (and doing tons of research) while I sand her down to perfection.
